What can you make with pool noodles?

I find myself getting excited for the start of a new school year. The aisles of all the stores are stocked with school supplies and the time has come to prepare for a new group of kiddos. I always have fun thinking of ideas for my August bulletin board. This year I decided to try something new. I am attempting to make "Smarties" candies using pool noodles and clear cellophane. It's a fun Sunday afternoon craft, but I'm not sure if it is actually going to work as planned.
