We had a lot of fun during science today. All of the little scientists used all of their senses except taste to predict the flavor of jello. Little did they know, it was strawberry jello that I had dyed purple with food coloring. Most students predicted that the jello was grape because of the purple color. Once the scientists ate the jello, they discovered it was strawberry. This activity taught us that all of our senses work together. We experience much of what we eat with the smell and sight of the food, before we have even eaten it.
It was a fun day of learning!
