The kids are doing a great job reading lots of books for the Read-a-Thon! Renee McKown came today to count the number of book credits we have as a class. So far, we have read 150 books!! The kids were able to add 15 apples to our Read-a-Thon apple tree!

Author's Celebration and American Flag Treats

Our author's celebration was a huge success! The children loved sharing their stories with the class. We toasted each other at the end of the celebration and congratulated one another on great writing! The students enjoyed the "fancy drink" otherwise known as apple juice.
